The "99 Names of Allah" (Arabic: Al Asma wal As-Safat) can be better
understood as "The Character" or "Attributes" of Allah.
These have always inspired Muslims, especially in light of the saying of
prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, regarding Paradise for anyone who
memorizes these Names. Scholars have noted, the person must also apply
these meanings in their own individual lives for this promise to be
valid, inshallah.
